Paypal Express - Team Logic Help System

Paypal Express

What it is:

Millions of shoppers prefer to pay with PayPal. If you already accept credit cards online, you can also accept PayPal by adding Paypal Express.

This service uses your Paypal business account to take payments from customers using their credit card or their Paypal account. The customer is redirected to Paypal's secure site to send their payment information. It is used as an additional payment option in addition to one of the other payment APIs available in the store.

Who its for:

This payment option allows customers to choose to pay with their Paypal account instead of using their credit card through your merchant account payment option. Customers can use their Paypal account to complete their purchase and do not have to have their credit card present.

This option MUST be used WITH another merchant account because it requires the customer to have a Paypal account (customers without a Paypal account will not be able to buy from your store if you dont not have an additional payment gateway setup). They will not be able to pay with a credit card so your store must have another option turned on to accept credit cards.
