The Rehoboth Beach Village Improvement Association came to Delaware.net to design and build a new website to provide interest and information about the association, located near the beach. Utilizing the CMS-Logic, the site was built using the latest trends in CSS, SEO, and content management.
The Village Improvement Association or “V.I.A.” as it is commonly known is a unique women’s civic and charitable organization located in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Since its founding in 1909, members have been harnessing their collective powers to make enduring contributions to the town of Rehoboth Beach, as well as the surrounding Cape Henlopen District communities. The VIA is a member of the Delaware State Federation of Women’s Clubs (DSFWC) and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC).
Now celebrating its 100th year, membership has grown to over 200. The Club’s history speaks of its dedication to promoting the interests of and improvements to the Rehoboth Beach community. The VIA originated the Rehoboth Art League and the Rehoboth Library. The Club’s annual fundraising efforts support scholarships and more than twenty-five worthy causes.
