How to Change Outgoing Mail Server:

  • Go to Edit, then Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
  • Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP) on the Left at the bottom of the list
  • On the right where Server Name is listed, click on the server name to make sure it's highlighted, then click Edit.
  • Select Use Name and Password
  • Add Username for email address
  • Change the Outgoing Port from 25 to 587
  • Click Ok to close the SMTP Server Settings window
  • Click Ok to close out of Account Settings.
